GAME #4: Phoenix Suns 107, San Antonio Spurs 101

The Spurs just couldn’t keep up with the Suns last night. Tony Parker started at the point and he led the way for the Spurs with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Tim Duncan stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots. George Hill was solid off the bench for the Spurs in this game with 17 points and 3 rebounds in 35 minutes on the floor. Manu Ginobili (15 points), Matt Bonner (14 points) and Richard Jefferson (12 points) all helped out a little bit on offense for the Spurs in this game. The Spurs got swept by the Suns in this series.

GAME #3: Phoenix Suns 110, San Antonio Spurs 96

The Spurs were outscored 39-24 in the fourth quarter of this game as the Suns appeared to want this game more. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs in this game with 27 points, 1 rebound, 5 assists and 3 steals. Tim Duncan filled up the stat sheet for the Spurs last night with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots. Antonio McDyess also did his part last night with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. The Spurs now have their backs firmly placed against the wall as they are down 3-0 in this series.

GAME #2: Phoenix Suns 110, San Antonio Spurs 102

The Spurs shot 50.6% from the floor last night but they were outrebounded 49-37 last night which killed them in the end. Tim Duncan was awesome last night as he stuffed the stat sheet with 29 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots. Tony Parker was solid again off the bench for the Spurs last night with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. Richard Jefferson probably had his best game ever for the Spurs last night with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots. Manu Ginobili (11 points, 3 rebounds and 11 assists) and George Hill (14 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist) last night. The Spurs are now down 2-0 in this season as the series shifts to Texas for the weekend.

The Spurs didn’t play any D as the Suns shot 51.9% from the floor and that is what did them in last night. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs last night with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Tony Parker came off the bench and played very well as he finished up with 26 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists in this game. Tim Duncan filled up the stat sheet for the Spurs in this game with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots. The Spurs are now down 1-0 in this series.

GAME #6: San Antonio Spurs 97, Dallas Mavericks 87

The Spurs finished off the Mavericks to no surprise to me as I picked them to win this series. The Spurs just took it to the Mavericks last night holding them to 8 points in the first quarter. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs last night with 26 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists despite playing without a mask to protect his broken nose. George Hill continued to step up for the Spurs last night with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Tim Duncan filled up the stat sheet with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots last night. Tony Parker was solid off the bench with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals last night. The Spurs win this series 4-2 and they will be meeting up with the Phoenix Suns in Round #2 of the NBA Playoffs.
