The Spurs finished off the Mavericks to no surprise to me as I picked them to win this series. The Spurs just took it to the Mavericks last night holding them to 8 points in the first quarter. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs last night with 26 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists despite playing without a mask to protect his broken nose. George Hill continued to step up for the Spurs last night with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Tim Duncan filled up the stat sheet with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots last night. Tony Parker was solid off the bench with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals last night. The Spurs win this series 4-2 and they will be meeting up with the Phoenix Suns in Round #2 of the NBA Playoffs.

The Spurs never had a chance in this game last night as they only shot 35.9% from the floor and they were outrebounded 52-41 by the Mavs. Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs off the bench last night with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists in only 25 minutes on the floor. George Hill pitched in with 12 points and 2 rebounds in 29 minutes last night. Tim Duncan had another sub par game last night with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in 24 minutes on the floor. All twelve of the players on the Spurs’ roster played at last 11 minutes apiece last night. The Spurs are still up 3-2 in this series but they can’t afford to play any more games like the way they did last night.

The Spurs won a very physical battle yesterday with the Mavericks. George Hill led the way for the Spurs in this game with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Manu Ginobili was a warrior playing with a broken nose and no mask yesterday as he finished with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Richard Jefferson was also solid for the Spurs in this game with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Antonio McDyess (10 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists) and Tony Parker (10 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists) both also had solid games for the Spurs.
