Tony Parker is still playing well for the San Antonio Spurs
Starting point guard Tony Parker is struggling with a sore foot and rumors that he got offered to the Hornets as part of a package for Chris Paul. Parker has played in 33 games (all starts) for the Spurs this season and he is averaging 31.8 minutes, 17.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game. I really have a hard time believing that the Spurs have put Parker on the trade block because as good as Chris Paul is, Parker is a winner and he is the perfect fit on this team. That doesn’t mean that I think Parker is better than Paul because I don’t. But, for the Spurs Parker is the right guy to lead the offense.
