Roger Mason is playing poorly for the San Antonio Spurs this year
Roger Mason had a breakout year during the 2008-2009 year in which he played in 82 games (71 starts) and he averaged 30.4 minutes, 11.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Mason also shot 42.1% from three point range which was outstanding. But, this season Mason is regressing. He has played in 20 games (0 starts) for the Spurs and he is averaging 17.0 minutes, 5.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He is shooting 41.1% from the floor this season and he is making only 33.3% from three point range. If his shooting doesn’t pick up than Mason won’t get back to the playing time he was getting last season.
