The Spurs raced out to a 79-64 lead after three quarters before cruising to a easy win over the rival Mavericks who the Spurs held to 35.4% shooting from the floor. Richard Jefferson led the way for the Spurs in this game with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Keith Bogans got a rare start at shooting guard for the Spurs last night and he scored 13 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and he dished out 2 assists in 33 minutes on the floor. Manu Ginobili was effective off the bench last night as usual with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. The Spurs are now 4-3 on the season.

The Spurs outrebounded the Raptors 41-29 last night despite Tim Duncan getting the night off due to injury. But it took a strong 4th quarter in which the Spurs outscored the Raptors 38-29 to seal the win last night. Manu Ginobili was outstanding off the bench for the Spurs with 36 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocked shots. Richard Jefferson was also very effective last night with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. George Hill did a solid job filling in for the injured Tony Parker as he scored 22 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and he dished out 5 assists. The Spurs are now 3-3 on the year.

The Spurs have lost Tony Parker for at least a week due to a left ankle injury. Parker has started all five game for the Spurs this season and he has averaged 25.6 minutes, 14.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. The Spurs will miss Parker’s leadership while he is out but they have a very able replacement in George Hill. Hill has played in all 5 games (0 starts) for the Spurs this season and he has averaged 23.2 minutes, 9.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
