George Hill never gets much pub anywhere but San Antonio as he is Tony Parker’s backup at point guard. Hill has played in all 3 games (0 starts) for the Spurs this season and he is averaging 20.0 minutes, 11.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocked shot per game. It will be almost impossible for Hill to keep up this pace much longer as his minutes likely won’t be there on a consistent basis. Still, for the Spurs it’s nice to know they have a player as good as Hill on the bench just in case something were to happen to Tony Parker.
