San Antonio Spurs 113, New Orleans Hornets 96

The Spurs rushed out to a 57-39 halftime lead in this game and then they cruised to victory. The Spurs shot 52.3% from the floor and they outrebounded the Hornets 42-33 which were two big reasons for the ease of this win. Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs in this game with 17 points and 6 assists in only 26 minutes. Manu Ginobili was also effective in this game with 16 points and 4 assists in only 24 minutes off the bench. Rookie forward DeJuan Blair had a excellent debut for the Spurs as he had 14 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists in only 23 minutes on the floor. The Spurs are now 1-0 on the season.
