The Spurs played great on defense as they held the Nets to 37.3% shooting from the floor and that’s why they won last night. Tim Duncan was dominating as he finished with 29 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots. Manu Ginobili was only 3 of 11 shooting the ball as he finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Tony Parker pitched in with 11 points and 3 rebounds. The Spurs are now 42-17 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 93, New Jersey Nets 83

The Spurs outrebounded the Nets 51-42 last night and they held them to 34.6% shooting from the floor which explains the nice road win. Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Manu Ginobili also had a decent game with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in only 29 minutes. Tim Duncan and Ime Udoka each pitched in with 11 points apiece. The Spurs are now 41-17 on the season.

Not many minutes for Ian Mahinmi for the San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs are a veteran team that doesn’t play many young players so Ian Mahinmi has to suffer on the bench. He has played in 6 games (0 starts) for the Spurs this season and he is averaging 3.8 minutes, 3.5 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. He is shooting 50% from the floor. It’s hard to evaluate Mahinmi because he hasn’t got enough playing time.

The Spurs played great defense as they held the Bucks to 39.8% shooting last night. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs with 30 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Tony Parker also had a solid game as he finished with 26 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists. Michael Finley pitched in with 11 points and 3 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench. The Spurs are now 40-17 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 97, Dallas Mavericks 94

The Spurs outlasted the Mavericks in a tough battle on Thursday Night. Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs in this game with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists. Manu Ginobili only shot 6 of 20 from the floor but he still finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Michael Finley pitched in with 16 points in 30 minutes off the bench. The Spurs are now 39-17 on the season.
