The Spurs hit the boards hard as they outrebounded the Heat 42-33 last night and that was a big key to the victory. Manu Ginobili led the way off of the bench for the Spurs with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Tony Parker did a good job running the offense with 23 points and 8 assists. Tim Duncan was solid around the basket with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Francisco Elson provided big-time muscle off of the bench with 12 points and 14 rebounds. The Spurs are now 4-1 on the season.

Houston Rockets 89, San Antonio Spurs 81

The Spurs got off to a slow start in this game as they trailed 45-32 at the half and never recovered. Manu Ginobili led the way off of the bench for the Spurs with 23 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocked shots in 30 minutes. Tony Parker also had a solid game with 21 points and 5 assists. Tim Duncan rolled out 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. The Spurs are now 3-1 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 96, Sacramento Kings 80

The Spurs rolled up a 50-23 lead at halftime and cruised to a very easy victory over the Kings. Tim Duncan only played 25 minutes in this game and he still had 15 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Tony Parker also had a solid game in his 31 minutes on the floor as he finished with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Matt Bonner and Ime Udoka combined for 27 points off of the bench. The Spurs are now 3-0 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 104, Memphis Grizzlies 101

The Spurs had a rough time holding off the Grizzlies on Wednesday Night as they had to outscore them 25-19 in the 4th quarter to seal the win. Manu Ginobili had a great game off of the bench as he led the Spurs with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in only 31 minutes on the floor. Tim Duncan had his usual good game with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Tony Parker did a good job of directing the offense with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Matt Bonner provided a big boost off of the bench in this game with 11 points and 5 rebounds in only 19 minutes. The Spurs are now 2-0 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 106, Portland Trailblazers 97

The Spurs got their rings for last season’s championship and then they went out and won their first game of the season. Tim Duncan was outstanding as usual as he led the Spurs with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists. Tony Parker also had a solid game with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Manu Ginobili came off of the bench firing as he scored 16 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, dished out 8 assists and stole the ball 5 times. The Spurs are now 1-0 on the season.
