Fabricio Oberto is giving the San Antonio Spurs solid work

Fabricio Oberto is sharing the center job with Francisco Elson and he has been outstanding so far this season. Oberto has played in 16 games this season for the Spurs and he has averaged 20.8 minutes, 5.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Oberto is shooting 62.7% from the floor and if he keeps playing at this level he will likely get more playing time in the near future.

Dallas Mavericks 105, San Antonio Spurs 92

The Mavericks jumped on the Spurs early in this game and they never let up. The Spurs fell behind 59-40 in the first half of the game and they allowed the Mavs to hit 52.1% of their shots from the floor and it’s hard to win that way. Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs with 25 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Tim Duncan also had a solid game with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Darius Washington was a fireball off of the bench for the Spurs with 11 points in only 14 minutes. The Spurs are now 7-2 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 107, Los Angeles Lakers 92

The Spurs jumped the Lakers 54-38 in the first half and then they cruised to a easy victory. Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists. Bruce Bowen had his best offensive game in a long, long time with 23 points and 3 rebounds. Manu Ginobili had a good game off of the bench with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. The Spurs are now 7-1 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 113, Milwaukee Bucks 88

The Spurs shot 55.7% from the floor in this game and they rushed out to a 65-38 halftime lead. Manu Ginobili was great off of the bench with 21 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Michael Finley also had a solid game with 17 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Tim Duncan had a great game near the basket with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 blocked shots. The Spurs are now 6-1 on the season.

San Antonio Spurs 97, New Orleans Hornets 85

The Spurs shot 51.9% from the floor against the Hornets and that was a big reason for the win. Tony Parker was outstanding in leading the offense with 27 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Tim Duncan was also outstanding in this game with 24 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocked shots. Manu Ginobili was effective off of the bench with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. The Spurs are now 5-1 on the season.
