The Spurs won their 12th game in a row by playing good defense and well enough on offense to beat the Nets last night.  Tony Parker led the way for the Spurs with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.  Tim Duncan had a great game around the basket with 17 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocked shots.

The Spurs prevail 100-93 over the Kings in Sacramento

The Spurs just seemed to want the game more than the Kings did last night.  Manu Ginobili was all over the place last night as he scored 31 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and stole the ball 4 times.  Tim Duncan was tough in the paint with 16 points and 13 rebounds.  Tony Parker didn’t shoot well (5 of 17) but he still scored 15 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.

The Spurs win their 10th game in a row 99-94 over the Trailblazers in Portland

The Spurs rose up in the 4th quarter and outscored the Blazers 34-20 to win this game.  Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 24 points and 8 rebounds.  Manu Ginobili had a solid game with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  Michael Finley also had a really good game off of the bench with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Spurs thump the Clippers 88-74 in Los Angeles

The Spurs held the Clippers to 37.5% from the floor and they outrebounded them 43-34 which is why they won easily last night.  Manu Ginobili led the way for the Spurs with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.  Beno Udrih had a solid game off of the bench with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Spurs ground the Rockets 97-74 in Houston

The Spurs flat out kicked the Rockets butt last night!  The Spurs shot 52.2% from the floor as a team and held the Rockets to 38.5% shooting.  Tim Duncan led the way for the Spurs with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  Michael Finley was outstanding off the bench with 14 points in only 18 minutes.  Francisco Elson also had a very solid game with 13 points and 8 rebounds.
